Study Visit to Vienna Strengthens Risk Analysis and Border Management Cooperation
A delegation from the Presidency of Migration Management took part in an on-the-job training visit to Vienna between 21–25 April 2025 within the scope of the EU-funded Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC) Project.
The programme included technical meetings with Austrian counterparts focusing on strategic and operational risk analysis, intelligence methods, and interagency coordination in border and migration management
Regarding the NACORAC Project
The Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC) Project aims to enhance Türkiye’s capacity in border security and management, improve risk analysis processes, and strengthen national and international cooperation in border management. The project seeks to ensure more effective coordination among institutions working in the field of border security.
Funded by the European Union, the main beneficiary of the project is the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC) under the Directorate General of Border Management within the Presidency of Migration Management. The project is implemented with contributions from relevant stakeholders in the field of border management.
