Secure Data Transfer, Software and Test Training in Risk Analysis Completed

From 28–30 April 2025, the NACORAC Project delivered a three-day Secure Data Transfer, Software and Test Training in Risk Analysis in Ankara. The activity was organised under the project Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC), funded by the European Union and implemented by the Representation of ICMPD in Türkiye in collaboration with the Presidency of Migration Management, the project beneficiary.

The training brought together 39 participants, strengthening practical skills in data security, software testing and test automation aligned with NACORAC’s operational needs.

Participants who successfully completed the programme received a certificate of completion for the Secure Data Transfer, Software and Test Training in Risk Analysis, issued within the scope of the NACORAC Project, funded by the EU and implemented with ICMPD in Türkiye, with the Presidency of Migration Management as beneficiary.

Regarding the NACORAC Project

The Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC) Project aims to enhance Türkiye’s capacity in border security and management, improve risk analysis processes, and strengthen national and international cooperation in border management. The project seeks to ensure more effective coordination among institutions working in the field of border security.

Funded by the European Union, the main beneficiary of the project is the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC) under the Directorate General of Border Management within the Presidency of Migration Management. The project is implemented with contributions from relevant stakeholders in the field of border management.

Preparatory Meeting for the Do No Harm Analysis Held within the Scope of the SAFE Project

On 24–25 April 2025, a preparatory meeting for the Do No Harm Analysis was held in Ankara within the scope of the project “Supporting Türkiye’s Efforts to Strengthen Border Management at the Eastern and South-Eastern Land Borders (SAFE)”. 5th Steering Committee Meeting of the National Integrated Border Management (IBM) Project and the 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the NACORAC Project Held in Ankara

The 5th Steering Committee Meeting for the Drafting of the National Integrated Border Management (IBM) Strategy and Updating of the National Action Plan for Implementation of Türkiye’s IBM Strategy Project (EU4IBMTR), and the 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the Project Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC), both implemented by the Representation of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Türkiye with the financial support of the European Union and with the Presidency of Migration Management as the primary beneficiary, took place in Ankara on 22 January 2025.
