Study Visit to Vienna Strengthens Risk Analysis and Border Management Cooperation
A delegation of nine participants from the Presidency of Migration Management took part in an on-the-job training visit to Vienna between 21–25 April 2025 within the scope of the EU-funded Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC) Project.
Secure Data Transfer, Software and Test Training in Risk Analysis
From 28–30 April 2025, the NACORAC Project delivered a three-day Secure Data Transfer, Software and Test Training in Risk Analysis in Ankara. The activity was organised under the project Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC), funded by the European Union and implemented by the Representation of ICMPD in Türkiye in collaboration with the Presidency of Migration Management, the project beneficiary.
Preparatory Meeting for the Do No Harm Analysis Held within the Scope of the SAFE Project
On 24–25 April 2025, a preparatory meeting for the Do No Harm Analysis was held in Ankara within the scope of the project “Supporting Türkiye’s Efforts to Strengthen Border Management at the Eastern and South-Eastern Land Borders (SAFE)”. The meeting was organised by the Representation of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Türkiye, in cooperation with the Directorate General of Border Management under the Presidency of Migration Management and with the financial support of the European Union. The meeting aimed to consult with key stakeholders on the scope and methodology of the analysis—focusing on the human rights and environmental dimensions of the project—and to gather their feedback.
5th Steering Committee Meeting of the National Integrated Border Management (IBM) Project and the 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the NACORAC Project Held in Ankara
The 5th Steering Committee Meeting for the Drafting of the National Integrated Border Management (IBM) Strategy and Updating of the National Action Plan for Implementation of Türkiye’s IBM Strategy Project (EU4IBMTR), and the 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the Project Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC), both implemented by the Representation of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Türkiye with the financial support of the European Union and with the Presidency of Migration Management as the primary beneficiary, took place in Ankara on 22 January 2025.
Operational Capacity Training for NACORAC Staff Successfully Completed
As part of the Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC) Project, implemented by the Representation of ICMPD in Türkiye with financial support from the European Union, and with the Presidency of Migration Management as the main beneficiary, a five-day training programme was organised in Ankara from 27 to 31 January 2025 for NACORAC staff.
Workshop On Raising Awareness of Nacorac’s Operations Held in Ankara
As part of the Supporting the Institutional Capacity of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC) Project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Representation of ICMPD in Türkiye, with the Presidency of Migration Management as the primary beneficiary, a workshop was held in Ankara on 25-26 December 2024 to raise awareness of the operations of the National Coordination and Joint Risk Analysis Centre (NACORAC).
